Day 1: First Steps into Georgia’s Past
Your journey begins with a warm welcome at the airport, followed by a drive into Georgia’s ancient heart.
In Mtskheta, one of the oldest continuously inhabited cities in the world, history feels alive beneath your feet. From the hilltop Jvari Monastery, sweeping views reveal the meeting of rivers and civilizations. The day continues to Uplistsikhe, a mysterious rock-hewn town carved into stone centuries ago, before returning to Tbilisi as evening settles gently over the city.
Day 2: Tbilisi, A City of Layers
This day is dedicated to discovering Tbilisi’s soul.
You explore Metekhi Church, standing above the river like a silent guardian, then cross the futuristic Bridge of Peace, where modern design meets old traditions. A cable car lifts you to Narikala Fortress, unveiling panoramic views of rooftops and hills.
The journey flows through the sulfur bath district, past the city waterfall, up to Mtatsminda Park, and concludes at the monumental Chronicles of Georgia, where stone pillars tell the nation’s story in silence and scale.
Day 3: The Mountain Road to Gudauri
The road north becomes the highlight of the day.
Traveling along the legendary Georgian Military Highway, landscapes shift from rivers and forests to dramatic mountain passes. Stops at Jinvali Reservoir, Ananuri Fortress, and the Friendship Monument offer moments to pause, photograph, and simply breathe.
By the time you reach Gudauri, the air feels lighter, the views wider, and the world wonderfully distant.
Day 4: Borjomi & Bakuriani: Forests and Fresh Air
A softer pace defines today’s journey.
In Borjomi, famous for its mineral waters, you stroll through lush parklands where nature feels restorative and unhurried. The road continues toward Bakuriani, surrounded by pine forests and mountain scenery, leaving space for relaxation, photography, and quiet enjoyment of Georgia’s alpine charm.
Day 5: Kakheti Love, Faith, and Wine
The landscape opens into vineyards and rolling hills as you enter Kakheti, Georgia’s wine country.
In Sighnaghi, known as the “City of Love,” pastel houses and panoramic views create an atmosphere of calm romance. A visit to Bodbe Monastery adds a spiritual pause, while traditional Georgian wine tasting introduces flavors shaped by centuries of craftsmanship.
This day is less about movement, and more about savoring.
Day 6: Tracing Humanity’s Earliest Footsteps
On your final day, the journey reaches deep into history.
You visit Bolnisi and Dmanisi, sites that hold some of the oldest human remains ever discovered in Europe, a powerful reminder of Georgia’s place in the human story.
With these reflections, you return to Tbilisi and transfer to the airport, carrying memories that feel both vast and personal.
